Steps on How to Submit NHIF ONLINE
Prepare your Excel by-product file in the required NHIF format using the latest NHIF rate if you are using Meclon online payroll software, this file will be automatically generated for you.
Login to NHIF online portal
Browse to NHIF employer resource and log in with your employer code and password
Upload NHIF ByProduct
Once logged in, click the “Browse” button and navigate to the Excel by-product file saved on your computer.
Validate and Submit NHIF ByProductThen click “Validate by-product”. This will download the contents of your MS Excel file and display it on your desktop. Any errors detected will be marked in red by the NHIF system. If there are no errors, click “Submit a by-product”
Print, pay, and drop a copy
The by-product number generated by the NHIF online system will be displayed with the print option. Print it out and use it to pay the nearest bank
